What is The Haircut?

The Haircut is a hairdressing service delivering haircuts to your home, office, hotel, vacation spot or any other location that suits you. Available from 7 am to 11 pm, every day of the year, even on Sundays, The Haircut offers quality hairdressing services in the comfort of your environment. No more journeys to go to the hairdresser, long waits, noisy salons ... you will enjoy having your hair done.

 

Who are the personal barbers?

Our personal barbers are professional graduates, specialists in hairdressing at home. Tested and selected for their skills and professionalism, they do their best to make sure you are satisfied. Do not hesitate to visit their profiles to find the one that best suits you: a studio hairdresser for big occasions? A hairdresser available on Sunday? A hairdresser for a trendy cut? All profiles are available at The Haircut!

 

How do I order a hairdressing service at home?

All you have to do is to search from the home page, enter your address and the time you want a hairdresser to come. We then offer you several profiles, in which you can select the one that corresponds best to your needs. All you have to do is fill in the booking form and make your request for a service. As soon as the order is validated by the personal barbers, you will receive a confirmation. It's that simple! And if you want to book several cuts at the same time, take advantage of our group rates, available from 2 cuts and more!

 

How much does it cost me?

It is your choice, among all the personal barbers that are suggested. You can decide a price range for your haircut and we will display the profiles that match. And of course, the price displayed is the price you pay, there is no hidden service charge.

 

How do I pay? And when?

For now, by credit card only, through our service provider MANGOPAY. When ordering your service, you must fill in your payment information. You will only be charged once the service has been confirmed. At no times does The Haircut know or store your bank details, everything is managed by MANGOPAY.

 

Is it possible to cancel an order?

Yes! You have the option to cancel the hairdressing service at any time. This is completely free if you do it before the personal hairdresser validates it, you will not be debited. If you cancel the order more than 24 hours before the planned time of your haircut, you will be reimbursed for the full price of the service, but not the service charge (€ 1.8), which covers the payment costs by credit card.

Cancelling less than 24 hours before the haircut is not possible. This is because the personal barber has reserved a slot for you compromising other potential clients. If you are not be available, why not offer this service to a friend?

How do I choose my personal barber at The Haircut?

When you have chosen your search criteria (place and time), we offer you the personal barber which we think is the most adapted for your request. A view of his profile will allow you to consult the history of his services, the comments of his previous clients or even samples of his haircuts. If the suggested hairdresser does not suit you, you can go check the next hairdresser.

 

Where can my hairdressing service take place?

In order for a service to be carried out in the best conditions, the place you choose should meet the following conditions: hairdressing should be allowed there (if it is at an office, check that your employer agrees, for example) A chair for you to sit on and a space allowing the barber to arrange his material and circulate around you. A sink or bathtub should also be available nearby (in the room if you request for a hairwash).

 

Should I get ready beforehand?

If you ordered a hairdressing service without shampoo, you should have washed your hair recently (a day before or the same day). Apart from that, you have nothing to do, your private barber takes care of everything!

 

A hairdressing service at home, how long does it take?

The estimated time for each service is indicated at the time of booking. If you are in a hurry, notify your hairdresser beforehand or when he arrives, he will make sure to do his job in the given time. In general, a cut requires a 45-minute window between the hairdresser's installation and his departure after the restoration of the premises.

 

I hope everything is clean after my haircut

It is your private hairdresser who takes care of cleaning after your haircut. It will be as if he was never there. For this, our barbers are equipped with all the necessary equipment to offer a service of quality.

Please contact customer service either by sending a message to contact@thehaircut.com or by calling 01 76 35 01 77, available from 8 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 6 pm on weekends and holidays. We will contact you as soon as possible to propose an alternative solution.

 

There was no cleaning after the haircut

Cleaning after the haircut is an important part our services at The Haircut. If it was not done well, or not at all, you can report it when you rate the barber. You can click on "Report a problem" on our site, where you will be able to explain the problem and our team dedicated to customer satisfaction will take care of you shortly after.

 

The service was not satisfying

If unfortunately our private hairdressers was not satisfying, you can report it when rating the barber. If the cause of your dissatisfaction is because of the private barber’s disrespect of The Haircut's commitments, you can report it to us through the "Report a problem" button, which can be found in the rating form. Our customer satisfaction team will quickly contact you to propose a solution.

What's the point?

Your account allows you to quickly reserve a hairdressing service with our private hairdressers, but also to be able to communicate with your hairdresser before his arrival, to consult the history of your services, to find your invoices ... All the personal information that you put in your Account are protected, we only share your contact information with the hairdresser only when necessary.

 

How do I create an account?

Click on the "Registration" button on the sidebar at the top left of your page, and you will be guided through the different steps of the creation of your account. Your account can also be created when you make your first reservation: after having filled in the information required for the reservation, click on "Create my account". You only have to create a password and your account will be available.

 

What personal information should be provided? Who can see them?

We ask you two types of information to create an account: your contact information, which allows the private hairdresser to join you if he has difficulty going to the place of delivery; And personal information, which is required to sign a contract online. When you order a service, the place of performance (haircut) must also be filled in, and can be stored in your account if you wish.

Your contact and your identity are communicated to the private hairdresser when he accepts your reservation. Otherwise, only your first name and the initial of your last name are visible on the site, as well as the pictures of your cuts if you agree.

 

Can someone else use my account?

You are the only one authorized to use your account, as it contains personal information about you.

 

I lost my password

At any time, you can ask to reset your password. A link will be sent to the e-mail address you provided. By clicking on the link provided you will be able to choose a new password.

 

I lost my account credentials.

Your account ID is the email address you provided when you signed up. If it is no longer accessible, you can contact us at contact@thehaircut.com or through the Contact form and we will be able to provide you with a new identifier after verifying your identity.

 

What if I want to delete it?

Oh, what a pity, you're leaving us? Simply go to your profile and click the "Delete My Account" button. We will delete all information about you, except those required as records for the administrative, accounting and commercial operation of The Haircut, provided that this complies with the law concerning personal data.
